Our mission is to provide the highest
quality builder assistance to owners of experimental aircraft.
AirCrafters builder-assistance will get
you into the air far more quickly than may be possible if you are working alone on your
project. With experienced A&Ps and an I/A on staff, we will jump-start your kitplane,
help you build any component or assembly, teach you everything you need to know about your
aircraft, and perform final systems integration and flight test support.
While the bulk of our work is on popular kitplane types such as Glasair, GlaStar, Europa,
RV, Lancair and Rotorway, AirCrafters can help with any amateur-built experimental aircraft
-- whether initial component construction, speed/cosmetic enhancements or repair. We also
place a premium on working within the commercial assistance guidelines of AC 20-139, FAA
Form 8000-38, and the Major Portion rule of FAR 21.191(g). For more information on The
51% Rule please take a look at that page
What We Do For You
Simply put, AirCrafters accelerates your project. We buy you time, we shrink the
process for you, we get you in the air faster, and we can make your aircraft safer.
AirCrafters will work with you to complete your amateur built experimental
aircraft project within the guidelines of "the 51% rule." This will allow you to
retain the privilege of acting as the repairman for your plane when you register your aircraft.
We provide a clean, secure and well-lighted shop facility that is available to you the builder
whenever your schedule requires. We are at your service to provide guidance,
technical counseling and direct construction assistance throughout your building process.
AirCrafters will also perform final-assembly, systems integration, final
inspections and full flight test support if you so desire.
