Ed Craddock and Mike Shifflett
brought their Lancair-235 to AirCrafters for a pre-purchase inspection, and once they
decided to buy, asked AirCrafters to help them perform a number of repairs and
modifications.
The photos below depict some of the
problems encountered, as well as some of the improvements made to allow for Night/IFR flight
and for greater utility of their new aircraft. Tim Ong's Landing lights were
installed along with Whelan Nav/Strobes, a heated pitot tube and a new attitude indicator.
Repairs included replacement of a damaged GPS antenna cable, header tank vent line, brake
assemblies and master cylinders.
