AirCrafters
recently helped the owner of a completed Lancair 320 add passenger-side
rudder pedals, cables and brake assemblies to his aircraft. We also repaired a
leaking fuel tank and some minor wing-skin and landing gear rashes typical of a well-built
but well-used aircraft
The repairs shown in the photos include: Fixing a hole punched in the leading edge of the wing,
adding passenger-side rudder pedals, brakes, cables, cable guide tunnels and a parking brake
system, adding an Airwolf remote oil filter system, repairing structural failures in the
landing gear supports and gear doors, and repairing damage to the stub wing caused by a leaking
fuel tank.
